Noah Morrison is a New York City based photographer who focuses mainly on street scenes, subway life, and developing identities. Some of his projects have included a study of the idiosyncrasies of life in the subway, a study of biracial identity and personal development, and a study of identity development on college campuses.
He has taken classes at the International Center of Photography’s Teen Academy. He has been exhibited at the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design at Drexel University and the Kitao Student Art Gallery at Swarthmore College, which he currently attends.

My photos are inspired by the smallest of moments. The light hits the wall of the subway at a certain angle for ten minutes, one day of the year, and with chance I catch it. A particular collection of people stands on the train platform: colors, light, and shadow mix to form a complex, dark portrait. A small firework goes off during the Fourth of July adjacent to my face. My gut tells me to press down on my shutter and my finger follows. Each photograph in this series represents a particular moment in my life that is both ethereal and universal. Through the series of photographs, I hope to elicit wonder in the viewer, while allowing each to examine their own ever-changing place in the world.
